The Guji pour-over really does taste like blueberries. I didn't believe the bag until I tried it.

Hannah R., Fairhaven Sample review

Two boxes of coffee for our 8 am staff meeting. Hot, on time, and they packed oat milk without asking.

Marcus T., downtown office Sample review

Best everything bagel in Whatcom County. By my third visit they knew my order.

Freshly roasted coffee beans turning in the roaster's cooling tray under a stirring arm.
A batch of Huila in the cooling tray, Friday 7 am.

The roaster is 40 feet from the bar

Maren Holt started roasting in a garage on Ellis Street in 2012 and opened the café two years later. The roaster now sits behind a glass wall at the back, so on Tuesday and Friday mornings you can watch a batch drop and cool.

We buy from the same three farms every year and pay them before the coffee ships.
