Services

Construction services built to last

Our own concrete and framing crews, and one crew lead who runs the whole job from dig to final inspection.

Service 01

General contracting

One contract and one schedule. Ray or a crew lead runs your job every day, books the trades, and walks the inspector through. You get a photo update every Friday.

  • Plan review, permits and engineering
  • Our own concrete and framing crews
  • Licensed subs we have used for years
  • Line-item budget, change orders in writing
Typical range
$260-380 per sq ft
Timeline
7-11 months
A crew lead in a hard hat and tool belt walks between newly framed walls.

Service 02

Concrete & foundations

Everything above depends on it, so we never rush it. Compacted base, rebar on chairs, forms checked for square and level, and a proper cure before anyone frames on top.

  • Footings, stem walls and slabs
  • Driveways, patios and shop floors
  • Retaining walls up to 6 ft
  • Foundation repair and leveling
Typical range
$9-15 per sq ft flatwork
Timeline
3-7 days, plus cure

Service 03

Framing & structural

Straight walls make everything after them faster: drywall, cabinets, trim. Our framing crew builds to the engineer's nailing schedule and checks every wall for plumb before sheathing.

  • Wall, floor and roof framing
  • Beams, posts and engineered lumber
  • Shear walls and hold-downs
  • Framing for other builders
Typical range
$10-18 per sq ft labor
Timeline
2-6 weeks

Service 04

Additions & ADUs

More room without moving. We add second stories, bump-outs and backyard units, and plan the work so most families can live at home through the build.

  • Second-story additions
  • Garage conversions and bump-outs
  • Detached ADUs, permit to keys
  • Matched siding and rooflines
Typical range
ADUs from $210k
Timeline
4-8 months

Service 05

Remodels & repairs

The structural side of a remodel: taking out a wall, fixing a sagging floor, replacing rotted sills. We find the cause, not just the crack.

  • Load-bearing wall removal
  • Rot, sill and joist repair
  • Settling and crack repair
  • Storm and water damage
Typical range
Open a wall $6k-14k
Timeline
1-4 weeks

Service 06

Commercial build-outs

Tenant improvements and small commercial shells, scheduled around your opening date. Night and weekend work when the space next door stays open.

  • Retail, office and clinic fit-outs
  • Small shells and shop buildings
  • ADA upgrades
  • After-hours schedules
Typical range
Priced per bid

Answers to common construction questions

How soon can you start my project?

Estimates happen within a week. Small concrete and repair jobs usually start in 2-4 weeks; additions and new homes start once permits are issued, which we track for you.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. We walk the site, measure, and send a written line-item estimate at no cost and with no pressure.

Do you pull the permits?

Always. Every Talus job is permitted and inspected. Permit fees are listed as their own line in your estimate.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every job carries our 2-year written workmanship warranty, on top of the manufacturers' warranties on materials.

What payment options do you offer?

A small deposit, then payments tied to finished stages (foundation, framing, dry-in, final). Check, ACH or card.
